4 Days of Mischief

Day 1: I get in the shower - Ashton..... cut his hair. I find him he says he was cutting off his messy part.
Day 2: I get in the shower - Ashton..... cuts this really cute fish decoration I have(had) in his bathroom and hides the evidence. I find him he says - he was giving it a hair cut. I say where is it.... he says, I don't know?
Day 3: I get in the shower - Ashton..... climbs on to the counter and searches the cabinets to find the mini eggs.  I find him with a slaughter bag of delicious Cad-bury Mini eggs 1/2 eaten. He says do you want one?.
Day 4:  I try to give him a task to do so that when I get out of the shower there maybe hope that my mischief maker  hasn't found something better to do.
THEN -  Ashton learns to ride his bike down the stairs at the church.

Colton is 6

'Little Man' turns 6. Can't believe how fast time has flowed by.  He is patient and loving towards Ashton. A good helper and oh so much fun!
Colton had 12 buddies come (I know that is a lot and I thought oh man what are we going to do).... I came down stairs and Jeff has them all lined up and excited to play pin the tail on the donkey. I am not sure how he does it but he has a special touch, or military training...
Quintain and Colton painting the skeleton masks.
All lined up for the pinyata.
 Oh ya it busted open.
 Awesome!
Ha Ha it was like a herd of kids surrounding Colton excited to see what he was opening.

And.... the break down from Ashton........ he wants one too.

Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 - This year was so fun. The boys are at the perfect age they think life is so exciting, and it is! The part to remember most is..... that life to them is simple. They ran right past the bikes to the small puppets and action figures and loved them all day long. Sure it will change in a few years but I cherish what we have right now.
 Getting ready wake up everyone!!!

For weeks they have been moving and examining the presents Aunt Brenda gave them! She always knows what little boys love.

Curtis and family gave them these cars that flip over and spin around. We took a 15 minute present opening break for them to check them out. Loved them.

Oh ya.... a sled!! Fun times to come!
This is our buddy Ed.

Coltons buddy "Q"

"Q"  lives two doors down and across the street, he is the 6th of 7 kids and always says his Mom knows where he is.... so we just go with it.  He comes over often and we love his company! He came about 10am this morning, he was 'selling candy to earn money to buy stuff and to just have money'. His Ziploc baggies had 4 pieces of candy and were, '5 no 10 no like 25 cents' he says. Already and entrepreneur at age 5.

Kids

Each and everyday there is at-least one moment that should be recorded.

Perfect Picture Ashton took of his nose.
SunBeams: The first day.....
The sweet and simple, fun and loving, nose picking, booger eating, cute SunBeams. They are cute -yes and funny, but that nose picking-eating stuff has it's toll. Girl picks nose, eats it and then touches my arm!! EEEWWWW. After almost gagging 5 times (seriously not kidding) I am prepared with Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer!
