Our Journey In Texas

We have been in Texas now for 3 years. We have enjoyed our ward and friends here. We have missed our family and mountains and cool crisp air. If we were 1000 miles closer to home I think that we would never leave.  Colton and Ashton have great friends with good qualities. Just what you want your kids to grow up around so that you don't have to worry, as much about what they are doing and where they are. But we are so excited to start our new adventure in Denver Colorado and hope to find friends as good as the ones that we are leaving. They will be hard to replace!

We have been here multiple times and have always quickly passed the camel. But I figured it would be our last time and I was going to feel the camel..... EEEWW it engulfed my entire hand to get the food!

This is about as close as Ashton would go this time. But he did throw it at them!

See where we are standing. If not I will explain: It is on a bridge above about 30 Alligators that are gathering so that they can get feed. I was afraid the bridge would break (it was not that sturdy) and we would be lunch.

I'm so Glad when Daddy Comes Home!

I am so glad when Daddy comes home. 

Glad as I can be. 

I jump up on his back and play and wrestle  everyday.

Colton's First Baseball Season

 In the out field. Coach is probably telling him to pay attention. It is hard, I guess, there is dirt to kick, birds in the sky, and people all over the place, 

Oh ya and a baseball game going on, or something like that.

 Colton's first hit of the season.... it was a home run because he was the last to bat.

 See the boy in front. His name is Payton-first baseman. He is a VERY intense baseball player. In this league all the kids get to bat, and if you are on the opposing team and last to bat, you have a 99.9% chance of getting out and tagged by Payton. He is going to chase you down, even if requires running after you around all the bases and then blocking home plate.

Off he goes. I hope that he is delayed in learning how to ride fast, because he may disappear one day and I will find him at the park riding his bike.
