Our Ninth Anniversary

Wow! Really it has been nine years! 9 Years ago I was a gitty 19 year old sophomore at Weber getting ready to go to the temple to get married for Time and All Eternity. Yep he is stuck with me, but he does keep his return receipt near just in case I act out.  We started at Weber State  -
I graduated to I just can't find a picture....
then this happened......

And instead of the 2 musketeers it turned in to the 3 Musketeers.....
Then we moved to
for 3 years.
While there another bundle of joy.....
Our family as doubled in size and I am clearly out-numbered!! The weight and size of the stroller has doubled.

We have two bundles of joys that keep us on our toes.
(Who is who)

He has yet to give me back and We still love each other!!
(I hope that he keeps his receipt for another year so we can make to the big one-zero).

Skeletons

For Halloween this year they are going to be......

Fall Soccer

Colton is on the Brown Bears team. He plays very good defense!

Playing Goalie for the quarter. (nobody scored)
 Bustin' a move.

Ashton is on the Green Dinosaurs team. They run on and off the field to get drinks, take a break and have a snack. The coach is not every really sure who is in and who is out.  And this is how 3 years play soccer.

Taking it down field.
This is Ashton in the middle of the field as the other team is trying to score. In about 10 seconds he comes out for a quick snack and drink and then runs back in.

Ashtons first score of the season. He ran back with a huge smile, hands in the air - like he had just scored in the World Cup.

Ashton actually passes the ball..... she just didn't quite get it.....

10 Year Anniversery of 9-11

I remember 10 years ago I had an early morning chemistry class. After class I came home to my roommates glued to the TV watching in disbelief of the tragedy. It wasn't until today as I was watching the memorial on TV that I realized how many lost their lives. To see the children say the names of those who had fallen and then the names of their parents is tear-jerking. I send my love and prayers to all those families and will always remember that day.

Scary Face

USA Pro Cycling Tour

This past week the USA Pro Cycling Tour has been riding all over CO. Today was the last ride and we went and cheered them on. They were amazing, fast, fit and had AWESOME bikes! I think I need one!!
Waiting for the race to start.

It was so awesome to see them fly by cruising at a min. speed of 28mph.
(so fast)
So when there water bottles are empty they just throw them off to the side of the road and Jeff grabbed one. Silly, maybe but I was excited -

Radley Can Ride A.....

BIKE!!!  At 2 years and 11 months old.... really????  Yep really!!
Today we went to Bear Creek Lake for a family bike ride.  Jeff told Ashton he would have to learn to ride his bike, without his training wheels before he could go Mt. biking with him..... And that is exactly what he did!!

New Mt. Bike

YETI!  A while back one of Jeff's colleagues at work had a terrible accident on his scooter leaving him unable to work for 6 months. So we finally talked Jeff in to trading his motorcycle in for a new Mt. Bike! It was a straight trade. Now he even has somewhere to ride it!!

Coltons First Week of School

My Little Man is old enough to go to school.... really? I can't believe how time has flied.  He is so eager to learn and excited for school! We are going to miss him for the 3 hours he is gone each day.
An art project on the wall as Ashton sends off his big brother to meet his teacher.
These two boys are the best of buds.

Potty Training Day 1 & 2

Yo Yo Ashton is on the road to becoming an official "big boy". DAY 1. Couldn't get up the guts to go in the potty so he pee peed in the tub. It works. Didn't have to go number two (probably a good thing). DAY 2: Four accidents out side in clothes. I told him that he needs to take off his undies and then go. He stated "Oh, OK" since, no more accidents. One poop in potty - one poop on cement (oops). 4 pees on Grandma ceramic bunny, he, he, don't tell her he is marking his spot there. So far good day!!
Colton gets Paid a quarter if he doesn't go in his pants. He is keeping a good eye on him for me.
DAY 3: No Accidents!! Good Job Buddy!!!
{When Colton was potty training, no matter what he had to get butt naked to go. Why? I am still not sure, socks, shoes, everything}

 Colton on a Praying Manteth
 I love his "cheese"

Aunt Brenda - we love you!!
This is a bird at the bird show swooping over head.
 The cute baby elephant.
Ashton on the elephant. It plays a tune and shoots water out of the nose. (we didn't know it shot water and it sprayed Nichole and got her all wet, he he)
