I couldn't figure out what this kid wanted for breakfast.  I thought he wanted peanut butter toast, NOPE just peanut butter and a spoon.

It seams that every time we get ready to go to uncle Curtis's house for a Sunday Dinner the boys get in costume, today they were Ninja ready. They are very serious about it too.

Kindergarten Graduation

Colton graduated from Kindergarten on June 1st. What? I can't believe how time flies! He was a good sport when we moved here in the middle of the year from Colorado. He has made fun friends in his class. It is amazing that he is learning to read. I remember napping and eating gram-crackers and milk.

This is Ashton standing on a chair waving to Colton as they are singing. I promise it was..... a distraction.

Dinosaur Park

Today we pulled in to the dinosaur park in Ogden and Ashton saw one from the car. It took us 10 minutes to get him out of the car and then he wouldn't un-cover for about 25 minutes. He was so scared!!
One foot print is as big as Me.

Watch out for the T-Rex he might eat you if you get to close Ashton.

Our friends joined us, Ben, and Vinson.

NINJA'S

On our way to Curtis's and the boys need to get dress-up to go scare-em.

Ha Ha I love there imaginations, ninja-karate belt with the skeleton mask...

Lemonade Stand

Today the boys and Quintin (the neighbor) wanted to sale lemonade. Quintin recruited his older siblings and went around to the other neighbors to let them know they were having a lemonade sale. They each made about a dollar and were very satisfied.

Show and Tell

A wonderful lady passed away this past weekend. She was the mother/grandma of our awesome neighbors the Hatches. She was also my 1st grade teacher. Always so sweet to greet me each time I saw her. I guess she was reminiscing last week, remembering that for show and tell each week I would move all the desks in her class room and make an isle so that I could do my back flips.

Yesterday Ashton decided to be a teenagers and sleep in until 9:30 - which also meant NO naps. So by 6:30 he was done for the day.... emotionally.  He was insistent that he sit on the toilette and brush his teeth. He did however fail to look that both lids were up.  Ha ha... I had to leave and call Jeff in so I wouldn't laugh to hard in front of him. He was ALL WET!

4 Days of Mischief

Day 1: I get in the shower - Ashton..... cut his hair. I find him he says he was cutting off his messy part.
Day 2: I get in the shower - Ashton..... cuts this really cute fish decoration I have(had) in his bathroom and hides the evidence. I find him he says - he was giving it a hair cut. I say where is it.... he says, I don't know?
Day 3: I get in the shower - Ashton..... climbs on to the counter and searches the cabinets to find the mini eggs.  I find him with a slaughter bag of delicious Cad-bury Mini eggs 1/2 eaten. He says do you want one?.
Day 4:  I try to give him a task to do so that when I get out of the shower there maybe hope that my mischief maker  hasn't found something better to do.
THEN -  Ashton learns to ride his bike down the stairs at the church.

Colton is 6

'Little Man' turns 6. Can't believe how fast time has flowed by.  He is patient and loving towards Ashton. A good helper and oh so much fun!
Colton had 12 buddies come (I know that is a lot and I thought oh man what are we going to do).... I came down stairs and Jeff has them all lined up and excited to play pin the tail on the donkey. I am not sure how he does it but he has a special touch, or military training...
Quintain and Colton painting the skeleton masks.
All lined up for the pinyata.
 Oh ya it busted open.
 Awesome!
Ha Ha it was like a herd of kids surrounding Colton excited to see what he was opening.

And.... the break down from Ashton........ he wants one too.

Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 - This year was so fun. The boys are at the perfect age they think life is so exciting, and it is! The part to remember most is..... that life to them is simple. They ran right past the bikes to the small puppets and action figures and loved them all day long. Sure it will change in a few years but I cherish what we have right now.
 Getting ready wake up everyone!!!

For weeks they have been moving and examining the presents Aunt Brenda gave them! She always knows what little boys love.

Curtis and family gave them these cars that flip over and spin around. We took a 15 minute present opening break for them to check them out. Loved them.

Oh ya.... a sled!! Fun times to come!
